Hi there. I've just finished all my stuff that consists of painting an undec GP38-2 shell, and its matching handrails. (I tested Micronart's but I just didn't manage to set them in place as they have only 5 binding points, instead of 12 with original handrails) When everything was dry I tried to put handrails to place. However, I didn't manage to do that, as shell received a few layers of paint, and so did its matching handrails. All shell's holes seemed to be rather full of paint, although I tried to make them broader with a thin needle. And handrails are rather soft, their binding pins beeing unable to be pushed to place into shell's holes, maybe due to paint inside shell and on handrail's pins. I'm affraid of breaking anything on handrails and I don't insist. So if anybody here has any suggestion... Dom

Hi Dom,
You might try a pin vise with a #80 bit (or something close in diameter) and bore out the holes filled with paint; just make sure to clean the bit often. This should work more effectively then the needle. Also, take a fine tip brush and a little thinner and clean the paint off of the tip of the "binding pins" - once inserted no one will notice.
