AZL will produce 75 brass units total. 30 D&RGW and 45 SP.
Roadnumbers: D&RGW: 4000, 4001, 4002
SP: 9000, 9001, 9002
We will accept preorders. We do not have a set MSRP, but we are shooting for $699,-. Delivery early 2016.

Have you decided on the paint schemes yet? The SP K-Ms had a couple of unique paint jobs as I recall. Can post more details when I get home if there is interest.

Would loved to have been there. Hope Rob puts a lot of pictures in the next Z Track mag. I'm not into brass, my names not Rockefeller, or Koch. I'd like to see what the other offerings are. More steam locos, and enclosed auto racks.

Quick update. The GE P42 and Superliner I cars are all injection. We are making the following Superliner I cars: Diner, Coach, Observation and Sleeper. We will try to upload photos this weekend as well. Also, we are not announcing any brass steam locomotives during NTS. We have another brass release, but that has to wait until tomorrow. Sincerely, Hans (AZL) Welp I'm screwed I'm going to be broke... I love the P42s and superliners... Is the price going to be the Amtrak F59PHi sets when they were new or will they be around current prices??? I'm hoping for current prices cause my budget wont allow for $300 sets.... I never thought that those locos would be available in Z scale. That is great. Via Rail has about 20 of them in superb colors.
I hope Via Rail is the plan.

Ok so is there a date that we should mark our calendars for the P42 Superliner sets? Or a price? I'd love to be able to get a couple sets but some of us are on tighter budgets that require us to save up for stuff.  |
