Rob, do you have...or do you plan on having any instructions, photos or directions to put the passenger car sets together properly (tips, best practices, tools to use)? The brass sets come uncoupled with a bag of permanent couplers. So if you put them together they can't go back in the box (as far as I know) unless you unscrew all the couplers that you have to manually attach. That leads to an issue on what is the best way of putting them on a track? If they can't be uncoupled from each other (the passenger cars) once you attach the connectors...then isn't it difficult to put them on the rails? If one uncouples...it could be a rough task...
Just want to know what the experts do. I own a couple of sets. They are beautiful. I own the SP set and Penn. Really nice but I have never used them - in the box for over a year....

You, obviously, need a nice passenger terminal where you can store all of these trains on the layout. ;-)

I few folks have done a combination of drawbars and MTL 905s on their brass sets. They will drawbar two cars, then put the MTLs on the ends. This way, they can use the box the cars came in, and it is easier to assemble on the track since with the 905s in place. It is sort of the best of both worlds! Hmmm passenger terminals.... what a concept! Rob
