I just got all three 4 packs of the BN coal porters and am having random uncoupling problems much like the Sunset limited passenger set (but not as bad) Am I missing a trick to keep them latched? I like running longer trains 25+ cars but I cant get past 8-12 with out coupling problems. Only running 270mm Rad turns on my layout so its not that the turns are too tight. Any suggestions would be welcome. At this point all I do is manually work the coupler back and forth to try and "loosen" it up.

Dave drop me an email at rob@ztrack.com. I have not had a chance to test run the Bethgons yet so I can't comment on what may be the issue. But I will plan on doing so soon.

Dave, If there are any problems with the couplers then we will replace them. We want you to be 100% satisfied with AZL products and have confidence that we will stand behind what we make and sell. Thanks for the responses. I've found if I take some flat needle nose and bend the coupler (not the hook side just the "flange" side) inboard seems to fix the problem. It seems the gap between the hook and flange is to big. I'm now pulling 30 cars with the bethgons at the front and uncoupling seems to have stopped.
