I accidentally broke some couplers on some 60' Gunderson boxcars and purchased replacement trucks from AZL. I need assistance on the process of removing the old trucks. I assume I have to remove the shells to be able to get the screws out to replace the trucks. What is the recommended process since I don't want to damage the shells. Thanks for your advice.

Rich replacing the trucks is fairly easy. AZL's trucks are held in place with a pin. I use a small flat head screw driver to carefully pry off the trucks. I try to position the screw driver between the truck and the body, as close to the bolster as possible. Not much force is needed.
I use a small screwdriver to push the pin back in place. If you have a soft cradle or the foam insert from the box, use it to hold the car as you push down.
