When will you be releasing a ATSF or BN version?

We really have a lot of news in the pipeline, but we need time to sort out the release dates. I can say that the next Wide Vision Caboose will represent Rock Island. For now enjoy the SOO Caboose. Sincerely, Hans

Good Eyes. The Caboose will not have RB trucks. Just got back home to a pair of Soo Line cabooses and alas not they aren't RB trucks. Unfortunately they aren't leaf spring trucks either like the CAD model drawing, but another Bettendorf truck. Ah so much for that dream. I will say the that really like the detail and fine finish , just wish the level of attention that is found with some of the other road names was applied here . Like the Milwaukee Road GP9s that were a miss, these too have some misses that where within their power to ensure. This new caboose design corresponds with Soo Line's cabooses in the #1 ~ #45 range, which have the same style roof and similar window layout. Other features that miss are the placement of the smoke stack, should have been on the longer roof, and the undercarriage rotated so the battery box and air reservoir locations are swapped. www.americanzline.com/wp-content/gallery/wide-vision/azl_wvcab_921002-2_soo.jpgvs. a comparable prototype www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=2445481Obviously there are other differences, but I figure that in the goal to provide a design that can be used for multiple roads there are going to be features that won't apply to all roads. So fortunately most these "misses" can be overcome fairly easily. 120 & 133 become 20 & 33. Move the smoke stack and plug the old hole. And hopefully I can just rotate the undercarriage. ~Paul E.

I have not been in any of the forums lately, but I am glad someone listened to my rantings and reasons for making a wide vision caboose a few years back . I cant wait for the Q to come out!

Will the BN wide vision cabooses be coming anytime soon? I want a BN caboose and would much rather have one of these than a MTL BN caboose.

Thanks for the picture; so much nicer than the MTL ones. Are you allowed to say when they will be released?

Two suggestions: - an Alaska Railroad's wide vision caboose - a special Christmas wide vision caboose with a traditional decoration (Santa, nativity, snow, stars, etc.)
The special Xmas would really be great.

Please... no Christmas or any other holiday runs. There is already another Z-scale company making that type of stuff. (I'm trying to keep my comments polite.)

Please... no Christmas or any other holiday runs. There is already another Z-scale company making that type of stuff. (I'm trying to keep my comments polite.) This is precisely the point. As you, I don't like the Xmas stuff from the "other Z-scale company". But it would be great to have something that really looks like Christmas. I've bought some Märklin Xmas cars made in the late 90s. They look nice. My children like them. That's why I've mentionned nativity, snow, xmas tree, snowman, etc. and not a mouse...
