AZL's Z scale 4180 Airslide hoppers are amazing! We have put together this video showcasing how to install the optional NO SWAY bolster pin that comes with each car. These pins were designed by the amazing and talented engineers at AZL LABs.
Also not all the details on these cars as you watch the video.

Can these be used on other symptomatic cars, like Well and Flat cars with containers, etc.?
The Autoracks already used an outward frame ‘bump’(although the Truck ‘arms’ didn’t reach). Still, ‘Bonus’ Points for trying. 😉

It will not work on the Maxi-1 or the Spine cars but it may work on some others others.

I bought 10 cars and was able to replace the pins on seven of the cars. On the other three, the pins will not hold the truck in place. I lift the car and the truck falls off. The original pins do hold the trucks on without issue. |
