Thanks for all the advice. I thought you might like to know that I also have a small T scale layout. This, as you know, is less than half the size of Z scale i.e. 1:450 with 3 mm gauge track. Here is my small layout with a British Intercity HST 125 9 car train: I recently had a motor go out in one of the power cars. fortunately the good people at Tgauge.com in Scotland did not think it was my fault (unlike some others) and sent me a new motor F.O.C. Here is a thread about how to install this TINY motor.
