Hi Gents and ladies,
I am embarking on the daunting task of planning a layout in the big land downunder. Quite the task as NOBODY sells Z stuff down here, everything needs to be imported at the poor AUD conversion or held to ransom with ebays pricing that has really gotten out of hand of late.
Because of the lack of resources I was wondering if there is anywhere to download actual images of Rokuhan track that can be printed 1:1 size on say A4 paper so they can be printed, cut out and used for planning? A search on here and on Google did not yield any results.
Thank you in advance and greetings from Downunda.

I am not aware of anyone offering what you are searching for, but I know what you are looking to achieve. To that end, I use AnyRail trackplanning software, which allows me to print out any Rokuhan track configuration in 1:1 scale (and then piece it together from multiple A4 sheets). I have the (inexpensive) fully-functional version that can be purchased, but you can do quite a bit of things with the free version too. Maybe this helps.

Yes, what atw said. I think most of the track planning applications let you do 1:1 printing, and it is an invaluable capability both for planning and for construction. EDIT: I use XTrkCAD which is free. I also purchased Anyrail but haven't done much with it yet.

AnyRail 1:1 Rokuhan layout worked for my 30"x 48" (76.2cmx121.9cm). I purchased the fully functioning version.

Maybe take a look at Rokuhan.com if only to see their suggested layouts? I understand that once you have a clear plan in mind AnyRail is the way to craft it but the layouts on Rokuhans website are kind of fun to check out. www.rokuhan.com/layout/

And BTW no hobby shops here in California carry Z scale items stacked on shelves for hobbyists to peruse. LOL I was an airline pilot and searched the country for shops that carried Z. There are only a few and they do most of their business online. I think it is the way of Z. Well, I think the real way of Z is modelers who can make their own stuff but I do fine with commercial offerings
