My two new IC SD70 are smooth runners after a slow start, probably due to the thick grease mentioned elsewhere. Thought I would post my two videos now when I run all AZL (ignore the three wrecks on the siding). This is my old, I call it yard, but it is more of an industrial switching layout in the making centered around a timesaver type of run around track. I haven't decided how far I want to go with this layout so no ballast or painted track so far. I'm supposed to start building a yard. I'm using Märklin track and the next step will be to get rid of the cross switch. I like cross switches, especially in a yard but both AZL and MTL randomly derail going through it. I will also cover the cut out so maybe I can fit double track all around and get rid of the two curved switches too. I always run double header since engines frequently stall on the curved switches.

I have slightly extended my layout to be able to replace the crossing switch. The track is just layed out on top of a plywood board for testrunning. I was aming for and like the ladders in and out of the yard. Which is in focus on my first testrun.

Hi. If you follow the Vimeo-link then you can see which soundtrack I have used. On the top one I used MrandMrsSmith free soundtrack on Vimeo. I use them a lot for shorter video clip. My kind of music. I noticed they have a Vimeo channel page where they collect videos that have used their soundtracks. I should change they to she. Despite the name it seems to be a one woman band. vimeo.com/mrandmrssmith
