Hi
Does AZL have list of how they plan to release the new sd40's road names? OR inn what order or is the release based on what arrives at the warehouse?

We don't have that sheet (or sheets). We usually change things around based on what is incoming. So we rarely know what we are releasing except in the next few months. And most importantly, we need to have products to release each month. Sometimes this can be a real balancing act. The only lead I can give is that the BN SD40-2s are getting close to release.

Would these be the standard BN scheme, or whiteface?
Also, any chance of seeing the SD40-2 in a BNSF H1 scheme?
TIA, Ed

BN SD40-2s are getting close I believe the artwork showed BN's standard white stripes scheme. According to a recent post, BNSF H1 didn't make the cut. "Next run" which likely means 6-7 years. (my estimate)

Think the next SD40-2 run will be in less than 2 years. After we are done releasing the current run we can do a proper assessment what the next run should include

Hi, thanks for the replies I will keep a look for when the Penn Central and Conrail SD40s come out Important difference, these are SD40 -2's, not straight SD40's. As such, Penn Central never rostered any of the -2's.

Hi okay thanks I thought they did saves me money for the Conrail version then Ummm, I think the Conrail locos came with standard type, not the HT-C style with the shock dampner. The ones I've seen, anyways...

Well, AZL has Conrail on their list. Whether or not they did specific correct trucks for the Conrail units is anybody's guess. I'd say probably not, but AZL does love to come up with surprises like that from time to time.

Like the Dash9. 😁 They are finally releasing locomotives and color scheme you want. Are they? I sat here about 9 years ago thinking that same exact thing. I will believe it when I see it. Let's see if we can at least get some H-II ES44's in hand, then we'll get bold enough to talk about other things. How you been, John? We miss shamoo737 on the ZCS Chat.

Pretty good. Instead of playing with trains, I went on a real. Took Amtrak from Florida to Seattle round trip. Last year I went to San Francisco by train, and saw snow for the first time. 😁
