LN 1305 seems to be in harmony with the landscape...... .,.... and therefore is often overlooked. What really would be a shame.....,... ..., as these close-ups reveal. Happy Sunday! Sven

Hi all, I know there's a lot of folks on here that are trying to "push the envelope" as far as z scale goes, especially in the custom paint, decal, and weathering department. I just wanted to create a thread to share photos of some of the projects everyone's been working on as well as tips and tricks for painting and weathering. I'll get the ball rolling with a couple of cars I just finished recently: the first image is a custom painted and lettered B&O drop end gondola, and the second is a stock mtl penn central boxcar that I used an oil paint streaking technique on to simulate rust and then dusted over with gray and earth brown on edges of the car. Both cars have had metal wheels added. The boxcar is absolutely gorgeous! Very well done. Tiest
