Santa Fe GP30 added to my 36”x18” layout

No point in trying the latest SD40-2 on my new layout when my radius’ are about 170mm,….. so I added a Santa Fe GP30 so the BNSF GP38-2 has a friend. It arrived today…. Perfect out of the box as expected. I ran it on its own for about half an hour before giving it a 12 car load. It seems to have plenty of power and is very smooth, seems to have less torque than the GP38-2….I can virtually “creep” the GP38-2… the GP30 runs great, but not as slow.  The best part though,  I’m enjoying the heck ou of this new hobby.
