The BNFE green reefer colour appears a little bright, even lurid, by comparison with photographs of the prototype or the ones proposed but never made by Intermountain. A similar difference was noticed in the pictures of the DRGW combine, compared with the clour in the picturesof the original series. Have you changed the film in your camera from Ektachrome to Agfa, Fuji or GAF ?

“We are doing the bay window and the wide vision caboose …” (Hans, 3:42, NTS 2023 video). … The Blue B&O bay window caboose … Would we see one coming down the pike in this new run of AZL bay windows? …
I keep rubbin’ the Magic 8 Ball, but I keep gettin’ a steady stream of ask again later answers … which is in itself a little chilling. Our mother never let us play with a Ouija board. She wasn’t too keen on Magic 8 Ball either. She did let us play with model trains. But there were no blue B&O cabooses back then! … Least of all in Z scale.
Are you going to tell me to try using the Magic 8 Ball as a paperweight? Or, could you, perhaps, disclose which Magic 8 Ball answer is most befitting to the assurance of blue B&O bay window from AZL?
Magic 8 Ball not required for the following: Enjoying the yellow C&O Chessie wide vision from AZL. (And thank you once again!)

Scott I’ll back you 100% on the Blue B&O bay window cabooses. I need a few in my line up too. Plus some Chessie B&O bay window also. As for the new wide body caboose I’ve already put my order in.
P S As for the B&O bay window request .AZL sooner than later would be nice. Some of us would like to see it in our life time ( hint hint )

A similar difference was noticed in the pictures of the DRGW combine, compared with the clour in the picturesof the original series. Have you changed the film in your camera from Ektachrome to Agfa, Fuji or GAF ? The green seems pretty good to me. I'll conceded a slight bit "overexposed", but I prefer that the the alternative of being too dark...not much you can do about that with weathering. Other versions of these car in N/HO have a bit too much of "lime" color. And the photo on Intermountain's Z page is very dark so I'm not sure I'd go with that as a frame of reference either. Of course, in real life these cars quickly weathered in all sorts of directions so most of the models have some element of truth. Now, the lettering/numbering on the AZL cars....that is another story.

The Pullman Green combine car …
Every AZLer should have one.
Transcends eras, consists, locale, contexts, et cetera.
Every AZLer should have one.
Seventy-years of sweetness. Should your modeling be past the 1980s, use a combine car to scratchbuild a diner.
Every AZLer should have one.
The Pullman Green combine car …

We are waiting on a delivery from AZL Galactic headquarters to arrive. It should be here today. Once it arrives, we will get the items photographed, counted, and sent over to be added to the sites. Look for an announcement this weekend.
