On rrpicturesarchives.net, I saw a PA-1 (the 0779) in Déc. 1960. So the only thing which I had to do is modifying the year on the banner of the exhibition of vintage cars, and I would be again OK ... at least for the PA-1 ; maybe that some PA-1's ran even in 1965 ? Concerning the automobiles, they are so small that it is really difficult to distinguish them, and in the 60's they looked rather alike, this is not a problem ; as long as I don't put a Tesla ... On the other side, I am not sure that the markings on all my freight cars are correct, some of them are probably wrong. From a certain point of view, it seems stupid to limit to exactly one precise year, I think it is OK if I use models from 1960 till a few years before Amtrak creation. Look at the Miniaturwunderland in Hamburg : on the same layout they run a BigBoy, BNSF locos and even a narrow gauge forrest railway with a steam loco. My handicap is that in the past I modelled tanks and there historical accuracy was fundamental.
