Looking forward to this year's RMTS April 6-7th in Denver. I am in the Boulder area as well, and have a BYOZ that I could try to have operational by then. It is an 2' x 4' L-shaped switching layout, and I am currently working on some hand-built Code 40 turnouts.

Thats what I am currently working with as i am planning my TTZ modules. Plan to build a prototype of the Moffat tunnel East and West. -Tiest

I am using the FT PCB ties and filing tool, but primarily building on top of paper templates without the actual FT turnout jig. To set the flangeways I use a 0.023" automotive feeler gauge. I'm planning to post some pics whin I get the chance.

Colorado Z will be exhibiting at the Rails In The Rockies in Estes Park later this month. I am planning to debut my new Z-Bend module (scenery may not be 100% complete, but still should be fun). Hope folks can stop by and say hello!
Cheers, Ed

Here are a couple of quick pics and videos from the various Z scale setups at the Rails in the Rockies show this past weekend. The layouts on display included the Z-Bend and TTrak-Z modules, a DRGW layout/diorama, and at least 3 portable/tabletop style layouts. Overall, a pretty good representation for Z scale
Congrats and thanks to all who made this happen! Ed
