Still thinking of that BN one, hmmm..... I was praying for this deal before downscaling my plans for Z. BNSF runs a unit train of these cars between California and I believe Memphis maybe? Pretty well the entire former-ATSF transcon, and I think there were several detours over the years too so this train is in play for just about any modern western pike. They also had standard gons and older style coil cars mixed in some, but there were some pretty pure consists of the BN/BNSF COIL CARe cars running at times. Often sans hoods, and the look of unit train with the coils loaded was truly neat to see. Couple of examples: www.flickr.com/photos/141041165@N06/47933783263www.flickr.com/photos/109794585@N05/41442845621Now, one caveat is that these cars are slight foobs compared to the actual BN and BNSF cars, but they are pretty close and I applaud AZL for doing these schemes. Even me being the proto-czar that I am, I would have totally bought two 8-packs of these at least. I still really want to but my train budget has gone to N of late. My wife would likely murder me in my sleep if these showed up on the doorstep. (shout out to all my enemies....lol)   |

Those videos are really cool!!! I haven't seen coil trains like these outside of Pittsburgh. The pushers really make the trains!
