It's not the weather... it's whether or not some of us can afford fuel, food, or fun stuff like expensive little model trains...

...cause nobody's been on here for awhile now. I was thinking the same thing. I was expecting that we would see the "AZL June 2022 New Items Part 2" by now, or at least a message telling us that "Part 2" would be delayed a few days or weeks? There are a few items that I have been waiting a while for. Mark

No worries on mid-month. We are running a few days behind. I am thinking after the weekend we will have them.
And now that trains are less expensive than gas... time to get back to the layout!

Many view model railroading as a "winter sport", since it has typically been a popular pastime in the northern climes when it's too cold to go outside...so you head to the basement. However, in Texas and I'm sure many other warmer areas, I've always thought of it as a summer thing, since that is when it is often too hot (dangerously so, sometimes) to go outside. So we retreat to the air-conditioned living spaces. (typically no basements, at least in the southern parts of the U.S.) Wife and kids are away for the moment in my household, so I've setup shop on the dining room table running trains for the past few days. It has been a blast. And a couple of videos I took...

Nice! Love all the 80's hoppers in your trains! Thanks! And the beauty is, all of them made it to (at least) 2006, too! (my era, give or take a few years) A little/lot more weathered of course. Heck, most of these are around still today. (talking schemes, not the specific phases/iterations of PS2-CD cars)

Nice! Love all the 80's hoppers in your trains!Ā Here in Switzerland we're having a Texas like heat at the moment.. as are other Countries in Central Europe.. so everybody is outside.. and for me I've set the Barge layout aside and switched to finish some H0n3 projects and 3D printed stuff.. because it's not really funny when the plaster dries under the spatulaš¤£š¤£ BR Boris

*crickets in the distance......* Let's see what YOU are working on! Lots of z going on right now if I do say so myself. Likely quiet here as Ztrack is closed through til Sunday. But - lots and lots going on. Loving the new Marklin 88772 small diesel locomotive:

That little loco is a good runner! I wish I had the time that I used too, haven't touched a thing for months now. Work has me owned for 50+ a week, ugh.... I got enough stuff for when I retire to keep me busy 25 hours a day though!

With summer gone for the moment, back to indoor hobbies.....
My 3D printer is heated up and prints cars in a row.....I'm using PLA+ filament now.. prints are more flexible and the orange color faciliates painting any tone except light ones like yellow and white or light blue. BR Boris
