Besides CA are there any Z scale clubs or individuals participating with layouts in the central or southwest US this year at the many train shows that are scheduled? I have only observed one dealer selling Z scale models in Oklahoma. He has very limited supply. Happy Saturday!!

The DC Z Bend Track group will be setting up Next weekend on the East coast at The Great Scale Model Train Show (GSMTS) in Timonium Maryland. We have a 30' x 40' area reserved to setup our modules. If anyone is in the area Please stop by and say Hi. Bring your trains and give them a spin on our layout, or better yet if you have a Z Bend module Bring it, We can connect it in with ours We do have room and can get a little more room if need be.

Since being in Z (early 2015) I've seen very limited Z at any show. Met Thom and his motley crew at the NTS in KC several years back, and I think the only other Z layout I saw was at OKC in 2016 or so.
We had a guy thinning his collection here in Plano (TX) in 2017 I think it was, and that's all the Z aside from a very small amount of used MTL cars scattered about. One vendor at OKC usually has a decent amount of MTL.
Since it somewhat falls within your geographic scope, I will note that N-Scale Supply in Denver is now an AZL dealer and I visited them a few weeks back and they have an impressive stock of AZL, Rokuhan, and MTL already.
I hope to someday get my layout finished enough to either take to a show or to a friend's house who is on the layout tour at Plano. Also pondering doing some T-Trak-Z modules too. Just can't seem to get time to work on trains much these days on account of work duties getting in the way...and a yard project that has expanded into a second job just about. We have a small group of Z-scalers in the DFW area but so far we haven't organized into anything formal.
