Cool stuff Robert, keep it up! If you get bored, we could use Alco FA/FB locos if you want to get into locomotives!!

Cool stuff Robert, keep it up! If you get bored, we could use Alco FA/FB locos if you want to get into locomotives!! Thanks! I would like to get into locomotives, but I shudder at taking off shells. Right now the only motive power I'd want to try is a doodlebug. Right now that would be an investment in time and money that I don't have. Locomotives overall will be one of those ideas I keep in the back of my mind for when do have money and time to have a go at designing them.

Oh, a Doodlebug would be nice, could fit it too the AZL RDC mechanism!
Just about every Railroad ran them!

I have one more new design to show off, a SLSF dining car: I don't know when I'll run this. I have other ideas for my December and January videos. I will have this design up in my Cults 3D store soon. Have a good day!

I decided it would be fun to have a few 70-foot passenger cars like the old "blue box" Athearn HO cars. I started with a few streamlined cars: a baggage car, a coach, and a diner. I am going to try make a few heavyweight cars in that same size. The photo is of the coach; if anyone wants to see the others I'll post more pictures. I'll try to have my next video up this weekend. Have a good week!

Another fun project was designing, printing, and painting up a couple Harriman-style 60' passenger cars. I'm hoping to run these in a future video as well. Happy New Year everyone!

My only thought would be to test-fit either an F7 or a GP7 chassis. Check the fit first then see if you need to adapt the design.

Possibly the AZL Soo Line GP30, since it has the correct AAR type trucks?
Or the RS3?

Thanks for all of the thoughts! I will experiment with all of the mentioned chassis.
I just have to add some grilles, etc then I'll do my first test print.
After that comes a GP15-1 for the GP7 chassis.

A while back I tried designing & printing a steel reefer car, but I didn't like how it turned out. I decided to make a simpler wood reefer. Here it is. I'm hoping to put the design up at my Cults store this week.
