I made up some new designs and got back to 3d printing. On the left is my version of an AAR steel boxcar. On the right is my version of a PS-1 boxcar. I'll have another design printed and painted to post soon.  |

Next is a revision of my double-sheathed boxcar. You can't see it, but I redid the underside. What you can see is that I also changed the basic design of all boxcar roofs so they print better.  |

My last design I'm posting this week is a single-sheathed boxcar. I went with something more like a Fowler type, since I wasn't sure how the angled braces would turn out. It's on the rough side but I think it's okay.  A couple people on a 3D printing Discord I'm part of asked about me sharing my designs. I replied that I'd been thinking about putting them up on Cults, with the idea of charging a dollar or two per design. Do any of you have any thoughts about this? And if you have any questions about what this would entail, let me know & I'll try to answer them as quickly as I can. |
