I am 99% complete on building my desert switching project. It has six industries and a storage siding. It is 24" X 48". AZL locomotives and AZL/MTL freight cars. Marklin track and turnouts. DC only. Desert coloration because my wife suggested something other than green. Like the UP colors for the layout. Woodland animals and fencing. Mixture of different manufacturers for vehicles. I use N scale figures, vehicles and fences because they look good. Time to go play!

Very nice! The desert them really does change it up! I love the contrast with the ballast and track!

Please, where did You find the (gravel ? ) loading system on the sixth picture ? I could be interested in buying it for my "construction company". I saw that there are structures by Outland, but I looked there and found nothing (even in N).

I made the gravel loading system from ShapeWays N scale aggregate hopper #1 80% size by Ngneer, $12.05.
I made the shoot from Evergreen Item No. 253, 3/16" Square Tubing.
I kit-bashed it so I could fit the front end loader under it to load.
The idea came from a loader in Guthrie, OK serviced by BNSF.

Thanks for the answer ... I will buy it together with my next order at Shapeways, for a single item the shipment fees (at least in Europe) are unfortunately more expensive than the device itself !
