What better day to release the Alaska F7's than July 15th! "President Harding marked the official completion of the railroad by driving in the final “golden spike” in the town of Nenana on July 15, 1923." Please and thank you, Hans and Rob!  |

Still no sign of The Gull that Rob promised me .... meh 🧐 What's not to love? A hodgepodge of railroads, leading a hodgepodge of cars across an international border. The dining car was only on for part of the trip, so they did an old-timey stop in New Brunswick (Canada, not Jersey) for people to eat. The really cool station and lunch counter in McAdam is still there:    |

While browsing late night through ZSM, Anthony is showing the following AZL August 2021 releases: - Cold Train (NRDX) reefers - Wabash F7's AB, A - ATSF F7's A, B The interesting thing is that the previously released ATSF ABBA sets are being broken up and the units are now being sold individually. That means - you guessed it - for the first time ever, you can purchase AZL B units separately. Great news as that is how MTL sold their locomotives so you could purchase an ABB configuration if you wanted. Unfortunately right now it is only the F7 ATSF units that are available this way. But hopefully it may be the start of a trend for all those who want to model ABB or even ABBB or beyond.  (That was a joke in case anyone missed it) |
