AMERICAN Z LINE May 2021 New Releases Part 3 ATSF EMD F7 – A-B-B-A Sets – NEW ROAD NUMBERS! AZL is releasing three new EMD F7 A-B-B-A sets. The road numbers selected represent the actual locomotive road numbers used to pull the Super Chief trains. These sets are: 63001-5_SET ATSF EMD F7 39A & B & B & 39C Set 63001-7_SET ATSF EMD F7 38A & B & B & 38C Set 63001-9_SET ATSF EMD F7 40A & B & B & 40C Set In addition, AZL has a limited number of the first release ATSF A-B-B-A sets back in stock: 63001-1_SET ATSF EMD F7 37A & B & B & 37C Set 63001-3_SET ATSF EMD F7 41A & B & B & 41C Set The EMD F7s feature prototypical details, a 7mm motor, directional controlled LED, blackened metal wheels, optional replacement truck with truck mounted coupler, draw bar (A units only) and come DCC ready. If you can turn a second run of F7s this fast, why is it taking so long for a second run of SD70ACe’s? Or E8s? Or… Mark OR? Or ES44's? Or R-70-20 Fruit Express? Or F3's? Or Alaska GP38's? Perhaps they're part of that mysterious pallet Rob is working on? Maybe saving them for the monthly NR Part 3's?

Or ES44's? Or R-70-20 Fruit Express? The ES44's aren't even on the drawing board. I hope this means that one of the locos on the mystery pallet is a C44-9W, but I'm not holding my breath. It's nice to imagine though. AZL is barely through half of the first release of the R-70-20's, and they skipped this month. Hopefully they didn't accidentally set the mystery pallet down on the reefer pallet.
