Life comes full circle! This was posted on Railpictures.net today. Here is the link (some times these don't work). I included the photo and text from the photographer. www.railpictures.net/photo/766498/The CSX OCS, running as P001, slows down to the crew change point on the old main at Wauhatchie. While the two GEVO's were a bit of a bummer, the main draw for me was the debut of the newest addition to the OCS fleet, the Moonlight Dome. This car was built by Budd in 1946 for the C&O for what was going to be "The Chessie" streamliner train. After that project dissolved, the car was sold to the B&O & over the course of time, ended up in private ownership before being sold to CSX in late 2020. Fun fact: with the Addition of this car, this now means that every Class 1 that runs in the USA nows has at least one dome car in their OCS fleet.
