Designed for bulk liquid shippers, the cars were non-insulated. These cars carried a wide range of products from oil to foods. The cars feature blackened metal wheels, add-on parts, fine pad printing, Bettendorf trucks and AZL’s AutoLatch couplers. The first release is for ROMA WINE. Roma Wines, once the largest U.S. wine producer, was serviced by the SP and Central California Traction (CCT) through Lodi, thus making The US & Z scale models of the Lodi arch and station perfect companions. Of course now we need an accompanying boxcar:

This is insane! The UPFE reefers are already selling out! Oh, the humanity!!!! Perhaps it's time for another rush PO? Since the PFEs always ran as unit trains, I bought up everything in sight for the UPFEs and missed out on the PFE only because I'm on the west coast. I've started get up at 3:00AM on release days just to get a crack at the offerings. I don't envy AZL (or MTL for that matter) in trying to estimate market demand. I guess reasonable criteria for a second run rush or otherwise, could be: sold out in less than 2 days and didn't appear on eBay a week later.
