Is there any reason why AZL has not done a Southern Pacific F3 or F7 in the Bloody Nose scheme? I can’t speak to AZL’s motives, but historically SP only painted about 20% of their F units in the Bloody Nose scheme. They were mostly the FP7s and the F9m which was a rebuild of the F3s.

Game on! When can I buy the Alaska?? What order will they be released? Ha! I told Rob Kluz today that if we wanted to cause extreme anxiety, we should release the Alaska units this week. They are beautiful. It is still causing extreme anxiety....

Someone in Facebook comments today claims AZL "hates East Coast roads" based on this release schedule. I've seen this comment more than once - maybe from the same guy... Rob / Hans ... Can you guys address the lack of East Coast roads in this F7 list provided? Do you guys actually hate East Coast roads? 😂 The fellow also asked if a re-run of F3s is scheduled. Thanks.

That's gotta' be a false statement-most of the E7's just released are all East Coast railroads...

For the record, we still have plenty of PRR, B&O and NYC F3 A-B sets in stock.

Of older diesels we are working on or just released there are plenty of Eastern railroads. And more to come in future runs.
SWs: CSX, PC, L&N, NS, Conrail, Southern and Amtrak RSs: NH, Southern, PRR, NYC, SAL, D&H and C&O E7s: 2 x PRR paint schemes, NYC, SAL, ACL, B&O, C&O and Southern E8s: C&O, B&O and PRR (small run) F7s: L&N and E-L (small run)
We also had a brass NYC Hudson and a N&W J class steam under development. Hopefully those are up and running again next year.

This is why I hate Facebook. Never had an account, never will, never go the site. The unsubstantiated claim has already spread through the community and has morph to include yet another locomotive type. All because some anonymous clown with a keyboard doesn’t bother to fact check.
Hans, to his credit, is as always is very diplomatic, but I don’t have to be.
It’s all about business, or to put it another way, let’s assume for minute that AZL is in it to make at least a little bit of money. East coast roads just don’t sell. Look at the SD70ace release from 2015. UP & SP BNSF are sold out, the heritage series in some cases in hours and this was reported as the largest production run to date. But the east coast roads are still on the shelf, collecting dust. If the Facebook troll actually knew anything about F7s, he’d know that beyond a couple of powerhouses, like PRR, most of the east coast roads ownership were in the single digits, if they had any at all. Again, hardly profitable, even if you can find buyers.

I’ve got 5 of those “HOT” western railroad locomotives (2 UP and 2 UP heritage SD70ACE) and a brass UP freight locomotive for sale right now. If these freight locos sell … I’m buying eastern railroads …and, of course, Alaska!

Appreciate your honesty and I see it how you see it and why I balked hard at his almost childish comment. The fellow posts here, too, so I imagine he'll address you someday if he finds this thread and is able to correlate it to himself! Hehehe. I initially posted a comment about the lack of sales but didn't want to start an East-West flame war there at Zuckeberg's realm and therefore deleted it. I did post Hans' very PC reply there and added the comment that "Hans' post should put this nonsensical statement to rest." Let's hope it does.
