Hi folks, I just received production samples for a brand new tooling product. That means that we probably have one more totally new release for 2020 (although it might slip into 2021) Now, I have a problem. I do a ton of work on product development, but I can never remember our marketing calendar. Yes, I know what is in the pipeline, and pretty much were it is in the development cycle, but I have no idea which ones we have publicly announced! Embarrassing, but true. Can you guys remind me which products we have announced, but not delivered yet? Thanks, -R

Well from my list (in order of interest):
SW1000/1500 Heavyweight combine Additional CZ sets
The more nebulous announcements that piqued my interest: GP38-2 with additional road specific options and a lightweight 10-6 sleeper.

Mark's list seems about right.
Only other thing that comes to mind (aside from the not-announced-but-in-development Super Chief and SD40-2) were more "alluded to" than announced. Things like possible second run of ES44's eventually, and another round of coalporters was mentioned way back. Those are the two "top-of-mind". I would not classify those an "announced" in my book, but still worth mentioning. I do hope both are on the docket for the next two years.

I have seen mention of E8’s in Rock Island and Chesapeake & Ohio liveries, and also F7 in Raymond Loewy Northern Pacific two- tone green. Also reference to a second run of Alco RS3/RSD5 to include Chicago & North Western, hopefully the preserved #1689. Switchers SW1000/1500, although no mention of road names as yet. There was also mention of Rock Island lightweight coaches I read somewhere on here, and also a strong hint from a dealer of Great Northern lightweights in Big Sky Blue livery.

Well, new tooling means new shape not new colors if I'm correct. So hoping for new locomotives I would bet E7 A&B, F7 A&B or a long shot for the SW1500!

No. All brass is on pause. We have not found a factory that can produce acceptable quality in Z scale brass. So SBB Ae8/14, and N&W J are on pause. Even if we find a factory, it will then take 1 year minimum to Produce. So don’t hold your breath.

So have we missed anything? Well, yes! BUT nothing that has not yet been announced. So, I’ve got the sw1500, sd40-2, hw combine, super chief.... everything else is a new run of previously released tolling. Right?

It seems that the only concrete announcement we haven't discussed is the "big" Fall announcement that was to replace the NTS 2020 reveal. BTW: regarding the SD40-2 you might want to consider CP 5902, the Smokey the Bear anniversary paint: www.trainweb.org/galt-stn/cproster/locomotive/5900s/cp5902smokey.jpgSeems like a simple addition to stock paint and it's a bone for the collectors looking for something unique. All I know is that I have to go make more space in the Ztrack Office.... Just need to sell more...

Hold on I think we missed the PA 1’s and E8 B units, or was this just wishful thinking 🤔

Wishful thinking would be a new injection steam engine.
