Seems like when he releases a 3 bay 70 or 100 ton hopper in Chessie System. They sell out. Why doesn’t AZL produce this style of a coal hopper?

I managed to find 3 sets of 2 FT coal hoppers Chessie line at a small train store a couple of years ago. They are well made.

I think a better question might be "why doesn't Full Throttle make more?". I feel like AZL probably would avoid a head-to-head competition like that whenever possible, since there are so many other freight cars on the Most Wanted list. Which leads to my somewhat related question...anybody know how to get in touch with Full Throttle? EDIT: I had tried their site a week or so back and it was unavailable, but now it is available and I found the answer, as follows: Contact Full ThrottleWilliam Dean Wright Uncle Will's "Full Throttle" 128 Burma Island Road Leesburg, FL 34788 352-589-0303 Email: will@wdwfullthrottle.com
So maybe just letting "Uncle Will" know of your interest might yield results? I personally would like to see some Burlington Northern 100-Ton hoppers so I'm going to contact him as well.

Doug I emailed him in February of this year . Asking for some 70 or 100 ton Chessie with WM emblems. His response was a lot of Chessie coming later . But yet to see.

That seems like the response you want, right? I would love if he responded to me like that regarding BN cars. I understand wanting them yesterday, but at least he has indicated that they are in the pipeline which is good news. Well... (a) I did specify freight cars (b) that was the topic (b) I did say whenever possible. And aside from that....with the SD40(-2), you are talking about one of the most ubiquitous locomotives ever. Even in Z, there are things (like F7's) that still have a market despite production by multiple companies. Pretty sure the SD40-2 is one of those.

OK, so I contacted Uncle Will with my wish list, and I even put in my vote for you guys to get more Chessie hoppers too.

Doug I emailed him earlier. He’s yet to respond. It’s not like him to not answer. Hope all is well.
