I can't find any suitable engines for the C&O passenger cars. Have I missed something?

The only locomotives I have seen are the AZL GP7's in C&O colors, and Micro Trains F7's in the same scheme.

Checking my references, which are somewhat light for the East Coast, it appears that the C&O ran E7As and E8As for the passenger trains.

That is correct, CWRR, Especially the GP7s look really good in front of the passenger train.  However, there had been a brass C&O E8 by AZL (#1830). With 8 ever built, of course impossible to get. However, the custom painted one here leaves the right impression as well;  Have a nice Sunday, Sven |

Taking a L&N E-8, using Tru-Color Paints and scaling down Micro-Scale Passenger Car decals (N to Z). We'll see how it comes out.

Adding an image is easy.
1. make sure the image file is no larger than 1MB.
2. Click the "reply" in the upper right of the message box. This will take you to the full create post page.
3. Click the "Add attachment" button and follow the instructions to upload the image. If you use the insert image button the image code will be inserted at the cursor point in the message below.
I would suggest using the preview button to confirm you got what you want before you submit.
4. Proudly show off your work.
I'll be interested in seeing it. I'm not familiar with any of the B&O paint schemes.

Two photos of the repaint to C&O. TruColor paint worked very well with their thinner in my Iwata airbrush.
