It was running so fast because CV57, Back EMF was on by default. As soon as I programmed CV57=0, two of my locos crawl at mm/minute speeds, but one still needs to speed up a bit due to something in the gears, dirt or flash that needs cleaned out.
I used the Digitrax DZ126T decoders, as they are just the right fit, and have transponding feature that I will need for my Surroundtraxx sound system that follows the locomotives through power blocks (modules).
