And on a different but related topic: I'm choosing between another GP38 and a GP30 (which I don't have so can't compare). I'd welcome thoughts on the differences between the two. For example, does one have more pulling power than the other?

If a GP38, then make sure it's a newer one, they have better chassis.

Yes, there is a UP on eBay now, but its one of the 2012 run, and I've been hesitant to buy pre-2015... although I suppose if you factor the replacement cost into the bidding.
