So, the UP GP38's are beautiful, well done this time around.
But, I noticed the grey on the hood is possibly the wrong color-most of UP's loco's in this time period had "green" non-skid material on the short low nose. Do you think AZL could possibly make some decals like they did with the Chessie GP30's?
Just a thought.

Well just a check of these locomotives they were built in 1974 and numbered at that time in the 500 series and most likely had the green. In 1984 UP changed the standard from non-slip green to non-slip grey. about the same time these locomotives were renumbered in the 2000 series shown. Without future research I'd say they are probably right.
