Safe to say, the SP will not have the posted road numbers. Think correct road numbers are 4823 and 4834. Our GP38-2 does not come with any change mold as our other locomotives. Thus it is one body fits all.

I'm thinking about getting those two Alaska RR ones!
Those are really nice!

As fellow modelers of ARR will attest, there is very little available in the way of Alaska z scale! Thank you for producing these GP38-2's!
And,I hope the ARR lightweight passenger cars aren't too far behind!

Peter,
Welcome to the forum and welcome to Z?
I'm just a modeler, not associated with AZL or MTL.
I'm afraid that ARR generally doesn't make a first round draft choice and not many designs in Z have made it into subsequent rounds like the GP38-2. Hans has mentioned that that they are thinking of another run of E8/9. I seem to recall ARR had a couple of units. Maybe you should put a plug in for them in the locomotive wish list thread. There is a fair amount ARR from MTL: F7A/B and lightweight cars, both sold out but occasionally available at the auction sites. MTL and several smaller companies have produced freight cars and containers that are available.
Hope this helps,
Mark

Marklin made some AAR cars too. Forget the F7, but with other trucks from MT, Fox Valley or Full Throttle and for the caboose the conversion kit from Zelastory You can ad some fright cars too.

Thank you, Mark!
Yes, with a few exceptions I have tracked down almost everything released for Z Scale ARR from Marklin, Full Throttle, and MTL. Got my eyes on the MTL F7 AB, and the remaining MTL passenger cars.
But this is about 1/4 of my N Scale ARR collection.
I will definitely add my suggestion of more ARR engines in the request thread. Thank you for letting me know about it.
Cheers!
Peter

Great job on the road names for the GP38-2's! The Frisco and MKT are close to home. I have to say though, I would have loved to see the Rock Island in bankrupt blue.

I just added decoders to my Frisco GP38's and I want to say THANK YOU for the improved contact connection with the light board/decoder. The decoder is now truly drop-in and you can actually see exactly where the contacts come together. Bravo Zulu AZL!
