Can I hope to get a NH-FA by AZL in "near" future ? And will there be a PA available, for other modeller friends ?

Can I hope to get a NH-FA by AZL in "near" future ? And will there be a PA available, for other modeller friends ? We always take requests. It does help us decide which models to produce next. As for your expectations, please remember that a new locomotive can take many years from idea to production. Typically, at this point in the conversation, someone speaks up about how that doesn't seem right, and if they ran the railroad it would happen much faster. To those experts, I say welcome. We are happy to introduce you to designers, factories, and distributors who can turn your ideas into reality. We always desire new producers to manufacture in Z scale because we believe it is good for all aspects of Z scale: consumers, collectors, modelers, producers, and fans - and we really like Z scale!

Well, I'd go for 3 or 4 PA/B SP consists in Daylight and Bloody nose. Searails has announced the release for their FA-1 for tomorrow. Typically, at this point in the conversation, someone speaks up about how that doesn't seem right, and if they ran the railroad it would happen much faster... Well let's see: I saw the Searails FA-1 at the convention in April 2018 It took 22 months from pre-order to locomotive in hand for my MTL SD40-2 Two years seems about par for the course. Building a half dozen is easy. Building 10,000 is easy. The quantities in between can be a challenge. Mark

No NH version planned at Searails, and re-painting in NH 3 colour scheme is tricky, only "Gerd" could perhaps do it, for myself I can do many things, but absolutely no painting ! So I think that finally I will wait for the RS (if it comes in NH ? ) ; I have already a MTL GP9 in NH, black and orange seem inverted between both engines.

Alberich, A thought: while painting isn't your forte, how about doing decals? The FAs in the era you're model seem to have a somewhat simple paint scheme (like many other railroads in the 1960s): There is a lot of orange striping decal material available that you could cut to shape, apply to a black Searails shell. Seal it and apply the white lettering. Not perfect, but a decent approximation. Just a thought, Mark

Searails decos are only decals, too. I prefer (to wait for) a really "painted" loco, more durable ... even a RS !

I'd be up for a Great Northern A-B-A set FA/FB/FA.

I would like to put on my vote for FA/PA as well, having a soft spot in my head for the New Haven for decades....
