So, first AZL had the SD45 in brass, then was made in plastic. Any chance of the F45 being done as well? Could also be done as an FP45 , or even possibly the Amtrak version too. All those GN, AT&SF, BN, and later the Wisconsin Central, Susquehanna, and the MRL F45's. Milwaukee Road had the FP45's in both passenger and freight color schemes, along with the Santa Fe. Would be a great addition to all those Lightweight Passenger trains AZL has done! Just throwing it out there..... PS, since you made the SD40-2 in brass, these would be an awesome re-do as well. I'll take 3-4 Milwaukee Road ones if you do!!

I would love an MRL F45 and an ATSF YWB SDP40F.
But my biggest "Brass to Plastic" vote would have to be the GE C44-9W. Easily the most ubiquitous locomotive of the past 30 years. And yes, agree the SD40-2 has something to say about that...but the Dash 9's are just more of a priority to me.

Alco PA-1 is a no-brainer decision here :-)

I once had a dream about AZL redoing all their previously released brass locomotives in plastic.
The collectors could keep their original brass copies while the rest of us could settle for the more affordable injection molded versions.

Same chassis, same cab, roughly same hood, and some work to perform on external radiator (why not 3D printing ?). Dom

You are correct, and I don't necessarily think that is a bad idea...just not something I'm interested in doing, for now anyway. I have plenty of projects already, (including locomotive kitbashes) and frankly I'm pretty ok using an ES44 as a stand-in at this time. (beating a dead horse alert...just wish they'd done 'em in BNSF H-II) I would probably lean more to using a brass Dash 9 as a master for the radiator section, although 3D printing is getting to the point now where it would probably get the job done. An almost equally large problem with the project in my mind is decals.
But if the discussion is what brass do I want to see in plastic, well....the Dash 9 is it for me. Certainly don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon if ever, but a fun hypothetical nonetheless.
