why no diner car.....if one is modeling the era of 1962, then the decaying COLORADO EAGLE would not need a diner....however, when this train was class in the late 1940's and 1950's, each consist of the COLORADO EAGLE had a full diner car.....they were Cheyenne Mountain and San Isabel....I hope that this is still coming; otherwise, this is disappointing! no doubt that the quality of construction is excellent.....just wish for a little more......and decals for numbers for the coaches.....as a 12-year old in Jefferson City, MO, I watched and this train usually had 3 coaches, 2 domes (one only between KCY and Denver), a diner and three sleepers...... no observation.......the obs car that you made belongs to the MISSOURI RIVER EAGLE and on the letterboard I believe it said THE EAGLE......I appreciate your efforts....it is almost impossible to please everyone....so again thanks.

You are correct! I remember now that 25 years ago when I airbrushed my n-scale model I decided to ignore the facts and on the leterboard of my observation I used THE EAGLE instead of MISSOURI PACIFIC LINES....in that way, even though the COLORADO EAGLE did not have an observation car in the consist, I could plug it in and it would look good even though it was wrong....after all, it was my train and I could do whatever I wanted....the real COLORADO EAGLE should have had an obs....not having one made the attachment of a sleeper from Wichita easier!
