Two words: Spring Cleaning. Yep, pretty much. Model railroading is typically (historically) a winter sport, played in the basements of the northern climates when outside activities are difficult. For us southerners, it’s opposite...you stay inside in the depths of summer to feel the A/C when it’s too hot to go outside for lengthy periods. But, I also think the distribution of model railroaders is biased toward the north. And right now, both are enjoying pleasant weather for the most part. So spring cleaning, yard work, etc. Plus, with the factory issues there just simply isn’t a lot of product “buzz” or much expectation for new announcements. |

It’s been quite awhile since I last checked in! Since I got into highschool I haven’t really touched z-hopefully during summer break I’ll get back into it,

Plus, with the factory issues there just simply isn’t a lot of product “buzz” or much expectation for new announcements. We believe our factory issues are now resolved and we anticipate our first release from the new production group in the next 60 days. We will also be announcing new items in 2019, and plan on delivering some previously announced items too! |

Rob, that is good news. I'm hoping the Maxi-I made it out of all this alive. Admittedly I was guilty of painting this topic with a broad "all-scales" brush. There are many manufacturers that are still crawling out of that hole across the industry. And you're not even the only one in Z affected. Atlas has been having some delays with the factory that is now making their track, which supposedly is now resolved as well. Anyway, looking forward to seeing what you guys have in store for us. The great thing about the delay is that I have righted the ship a little bit and now I have a puncher's chance of being able to buy one or two of the Maxi-I's, which hopefully will make. I have to say it would be nice to get a summary "reset" of what things were previously announced and some rough timeframe on arrival of various products, for budget planning purposes. |
