Amtrak® is a registered service mark of the National Railroad Passenger Corporation. For the record, that is not a Phase III scheme on the baggage car, it's Phase I. (note the arrows on each end, and separator stripe) I'm not sure if the problem is wrong photo or wrong verbiage.

Phase 3 has a wide white stripe instead of the narrow separator in the picture. Yep, and no reverse arrow, like you said. Good eye! I hadn't noticed until you pointed it out. The picture is up on every website as Phase 3 ...so only you caught it. Great job!

I had planned on ordering one to finish out my modern current to date Sunset Limited consist and did not look close enough to see the difference, I had believed it was Phase III by the announcement! I would have been so disappointed! After looking at the 2 videos I have of the Sunset Limited near my home here in AZ, 3 equal width stripes, red, white, and blue top to bottom! I hope AZL corrects this in a future release...

Rob So you were looking at next month's release schedule when you wrote up this month's??? Since technically Amtrak didn't have "phases", all I care about is getting a car that matches my train.

Hey guys no fault on AZL for the Phase I baggage car. I listed it wrong. I have phase III on the mind. Sorry! Rob . Oh crap! I ordered a bunch because I thought they were the "Rare" and valuable AZL misprint car. I was planning on getting $250.00 each... RATS! 😭

Yet there are actual AZL misprints out in the world and nobody notices.

.Yet there are actual AZL misprints out in the world and nobody notices. Yeah and we have had a few really good ones that no one noticed. Rob

Rob,
If it's a misprint on a western road, I probably noticed. An eastern road would be a different story. I'd never catch a misprint on say the Pencilvaneya Railroad.

But I didn't order one. I looked at the picture and read the description and realized the collar and cuffs didn't match. If I really wanted either car, I'd have dropped RobK an email and asked: which is it?
If I had been careless, when my dealer received it, he'd realize it was wrong and would have sent it back.
If we were both careless, I'd look at it in the Christmas spirit: Many happy returns!
BTW Rob you should probably send out an errata to your dealers. They all have quoted you.

I'll buy one, since I model the mid-70's, it looks like it fits in.
I'm not one to really count rivets, so looks great to me.
