Bob, Model Trainstuff is hosting this year... They sure did Roy. But what I’m after they didn’t have in stock there. Doesn't matter. I bought 40 tri level auto carrier last Black Friday and I only run passenger trains. Face it... it's a sickness I tell you!!

Sad but true. I thought I could save some money since AZL really cut down on new releases. Unfortunately, I keep buying more passenger cars that I already have instead. You know, you can never have too many of a good thing . . . . just in case . . . . I'm just making excuses now, aren't I? And then I need more engines to pull these cars. And we're still waiting on the AZL streamliners, sigh.

I have a novel idea: put everything on sale...as long as it's painted black.

I have a novel idea: put everything on sale...as long as it's painted black. Ah, the Model T approach. For the very first car produced in America, it was said that you could have it in any color you wanted as long as it was black. NS and NW fans would rejoice at this.

Not to mention some SP fans. But as for the quote from Henry Ford, it appears in his biography and seems to have had little basis in fact. The Model T was initially produced in black, grey, red, green and blue. Later on blue with black fenders. Production didn't convert to all black until 1914 and the availability of paint with the start of WW1 seems to have been the deciding factor. But it's such a great quote. Mark

Okay all, this week is the week. Starting on Friday November, 23rd, we will be kicking off 6 straight weeks of Friday specials! As with past years, the weeks will be a mix of specials including buy one get one free specials, and package deals. Since many of the deals have limited quantity, it will be first come first served. Make sure to place your orders through AZL Direct. Do not call or email us. The site will be updating the available inventory in real time. This Friday, I actually will be out of town for Thanksgiving. I will do my best to get the announcement of the Friday special on the forum that day. But don't wait for the announcement! John Cubbin, our amazing web guru will have the specials online and ready to go that day. As a reminder the link to AZL Direct is: www.azldirect.comThe fun begins in just a few days. Have a great Thanksgiving everyone! Rob

Rob Lol - why not just admit you’ll be in turkey and gravy coma . That’s why John C is handling the Black Friday upload. P.S. sad thing to say Rob you’ll not be the only one that will be in a coma. 😆🤣
Enjoy the Holidays Everyone
