And here’s more than you wanted to know about the 2CV in “American Grafitti”. www.imcdb.org/v002991.htmlActually I remember a couple of these cars around the Bay Area in the early 60s along with a couple of Volvos and Saab. The theater complex looks great, although it would be good to see an image more on street level. You might want to try your hand at adding a couple of crossing signs before the crosswalks. In your era they would read: PED XING white on black or black on yellow, on a roughly 2x3 foot rectangular signs probably hung from a streetlight pole. You might also consider some oil stains where cars would stop or park. In the 1960s those big V8s leaked oil…a lot. Mark

I used 5 packages of Märklin cars ... Fortunately many German cars were available in USA, too, but I am afraid that I made some anachronisms, which are not too visible in Z ; this happens even in movies, in "La French" You can see a Citroen Xsara which was only sold two years later. Remember the success of the "Beetle", Herbie ; and in many movies You can see Mercedes. The Ford Eifel, the car most on the left of the exhibition, was my parent's first car in the 50's ! Unfortunately Laszlo never made their second model, the original 4CV (I read that it has been sold even in New York). Now I don't no more buy any cars, so You won't no longer be "bidden out" by me ! The only things I already ordered are some figures more by Trafofuchs (especially forest rangers), the NH PA-1 which has already been bought for me by Case Hobbies, and I am waiting for the NYC version, hope that my dealer will get one !
