Looks like a perfect example for both, although I would expect the ranger to wear knee-high boots instead of shoes.

Maybe I could put a ranger on the outdoor deck. Inside of the shelter seems impossible ... and the figure would be very difficult to be seen, windows are rather small ! I think that’s what I suggested???

I have already contacted "Trafofuchs" for deers and boars (my modeller friend already said the same things). But the figures will come "last" ...

Deer are a good choice. Boars are and were rather rare as they are generally just escaped pigs. Moose is a good possibility, also foxes and maybe cougars. Turkeys are good but they do run in flocks of 10-20.

If you were modeling the SW or SE, boars would be okay. Deer for sure. Heron and other waterfowl. Maybe even a coyote.

I begin adding some bushes in the meadows along the tracks. What do You think about them (especially the size) ? For comparison I put a (very short) train on the track ... The signals are not yet glued in place, and relay box is still missing.

Looks good to me, not too tall, not too short. I like it!

Thanks ... So I will go on with the same "style" and add very few "young" trees (1/500) in the meadows. The bushes are made of Heki 1551 and 1553/4 (these are almost the same coulour).

The color of the bushes and radial size looks good, but really need a side image along the side of the train to appreciate the detail. I would normally expect bushes to be 1-3 meters in height and a wide variety of greens. I also like to apply ground cover to add texture and color variation to some bushes. I'll run some of the ground cover flakes through a pepper grinder to vary the size. I'll use hair spray or spray glue on the bush material and sprinkle the ground cover over the bush.

I wanna avoid bushes to be higher the a man ... I will add a "layer" on some of them, but most are maximum 1 m (4mm).
