Just got the new Walther's 2018 catalog.
It now contains what Walther's terms as "The three scales" in one volume.
Z Scale is now considered one of the big 3.
How about that?

I don't know what to make of it. It used to be the N & Z catalog sharing billing with just N scale.
My 2010 N & Z has 25 pages devoted to Z, how does that compare?

Depends on how you "spin" it. Maybe Z has been promoted to the "big 3"? Or has HO shrunk so much that it doesn't deserve it's own catalog any more? Or maybe Walthers is cutting costs by printing only one catalog instead of two?

Cheaper to just make one for all scales....... Yeah, I was being a bit facetious. Option 1 wasn't likely. What the hell is the "big 3" really anyway? I think some of the other scales would also protest. Option 2 wasn't likely either. HO shrink that much to be demoted? Really? Option 3 was most likely in this day of high printing costs and high costs on everything else. Probably best not to read too much into "The three scales in one volume" statement.
