This seams like a wonderful opportunity for someone who knows these cars and has etched parts for them to come out with a line of aftermarket upgrade kits. The doors would be an easy one since the AZL doors open and are easily replaced. Heck you could even color match and paint them for customers so all they have to do is swap out the doors. Yup sounds like a great opportunity to be part of a solution... AZL's supplier has already the correct doors available, look at the SLSF cars, so no need for 3rd part stuff. And which guy is going to cut off the brakewheel incl. the housing on their brand new car, replace it with a roof mount and touch up the paint? One to non, no business case. Swapping to MTL trucks is more likely. |
