Gunderson 60’ High-cube Boxcar singles - CP: Released originally in July of 2008, the 60’ Gunderson high-cube was AZL’s first freight car release. These were released as runner packs of four cars only. They lacked the AutoLatchTM couplers found on all AZL cars today. This year, AZL has put the remaining cars from inventory through a rebuild program. We have equipped all the cars with AZL’s AutoLatchTM couplers. We have also repackaged the cars as singles. The following cars are available. Wow, that Nickel Plate GP30 is a beaut!! But, will we ever see a GP30 with Alco trucks, like the Milwaukee Road and other lines had? SOO LINE, Wisconsin Central, GM&O, ICG all had them.

Yes we will. The upcoming AZL SOO GP30 should have ALCO trucks. We missed it on our first run. Best, Hans

Fantastic news! Thank you. Looking forward. If I may wish for something, I hope you will be able to sell these trucks separately too. I want to retrofit my Wisconsin Central GP30s with ALCO trucks too.
