SD70's are due to have another run, including those w/o the safety cab. There are still NS available for SD70.

Not at all! A new run of SD70s is planned for later this year. It is overdue, but we should see new versions again. As mention, these will be ones with the standard cab. The NS are still available, but in very low quantities.

Does this mean the sd75 will be produced too? And if so will there be a BNSF H3 "Swoosh" paint scheme?

While I am waiting for the new SD75i's, any chance of getting replacement coupler housings for my existing SD75i's? The plastic housing droops, taking the coupler out of alignment. As a result of the height difference, I cannot pull much of anything without constant, unplanned uncouplings. See attached photo for details. Attachments:

wrzjeff:
The best way I found to eliminate drooping couplers on these units, is to replace the coupler that is attached to the truck and install the snow plow with the coupler already attached. It works for me and I have 5 of the grabbers. I installed the plow front and back. I have also changed out two of engines to take MTL couplers front and back. These work too.

Well glad to hear about the second run of SD70m will pick up a couple of them. But really looking for a second run of the BNSF war bonnet. Seems like a lot of people are, just the shell is going for over $80 and the action not over yet.

The Warbonnet will be back, this time as ATSF. Unfortunately BNSF have not yet done a wedge design for the SD75/SD70 so we are doing the Heritage II again. Sincerely, Hans

Only reason why I say wedge due to the fact that in Z scale (and don't kill me for this) a SD75 can "somewhat pass" for a SD70MAC, in N scale we call it the two foot rule But I'm sold if you make a pure ATSF Warbonnet, because they did have those during the merger.... Unless if there was a huge difference between the 75I and 75M ....
