I use Aztec cars in addition to cleaning with a cotton cloth with alcohol for the rails. Cleaning the cars wheels is my problem.
That Tsugawa Yokou seems very great for that. Similar to what exists in larger scales. Thank you tjdreams for that tip. Another question concerning that : Do you have to put alcohol or something else on the cleaning pads of the Tsugawa Yokou ?
Thank you

Hi Kev, where did you got the UK rolling stock from? Any chance you can provide me a resource? Thanks in advance! Philipp Very impressive! Thank you for sharing. I also have a question of the same kind : Where did you get those beautiful vehicules the we see in your post from May 28, 2016 at 4:48am. They seem better looking than what I am used to in Z. Thank you. Patrice

This is a very nice release with lots of different and beautiful stuff.
CP had 2 GP30.
Original numbers 8200 and 8201 in Maroon an grey in 1963. Repainted in red with CP Rail scheme in 1965 and renumbered 5000 and 5001.
I sure hope CP is in the plan.
Thank you

Please leave it here. That picture alone is worth a thread in this section.
I love the scene. That highway is spectacular.
I am sorry that you are having problems uploading more. I would like to see more.

That is very interesting. The possibility of having a continous running train on a very narrow layout is something I didn't know possible. You are right, the RDC is the perfect match for this.
Let us know if you do it. I will certainly do later this year maybe in HO. I am woking on a small z layout for now.
Thank you for sharing this.

Well after a long wait I see AZL finally released the Canadian National F3 A and B units. Nice looking machines but there is a very huge inaccuracy. Where is the lettering and numbering on the B Unit? Since they were never run in matched sets, each B unit had it's own number. I'm disappointed in AZL who boasts of making it's product as close to prototypical as possible, to forget or omit a detail as noticeable as this. Shame, shame! You received it already? That was fast. Or are you simply going by the release photograph? The official release statement said the B units were #9001 and #9004 ... I wonder if the release photograph was of a prototype unit instead of the finished product.
Does anyone has the answer to this question ? Anyone already received it ?

Wonderful idea ! I now will have to find somebody to produce the decals for Quebec Gatineau including the french version of the "zero injuries" logo. Are the logos removable ? I have never tried to do that.

Great! The CN F3s are here.
About the F3B : I don't see any road number on the F3B. I haven't found many pictures but it seems that the B units had the Canadian National and the road number on the side just like the A unit.
I am just curious.

I tried both and you are right shamoo, 123Z0 needs a bit of filing.
I put either one in my SD70 and noticed that the front headlight is very low compared to the orginal board. The original PCB has a front light that extends closer to the nose of the engine. 123Z0 and AZL4 lights are very far and ends up with less lighting out of the headlights and in the cab.
I feel like I lost something in the process.

Thank you guys
If I understand well: what I get from AZL4 compared to Digitrax DZ123Z0 is an opportunity to do more but nothing more if I just "drop it in". In other words: If someone just puts the decoder in the loco and use it like that, there is no plus value to the four fonctions of the AZL4 compared to the two functions of the Digitrax DZ123Z0 since two of the four functions of the AZL4 are pads that can be used if you solder something on it. If you use both as drop-in decoders, they will do the same? Am I right ?

Yep ! Ditch lights, dual (independent) nose lights, number boards, interior lighting. Going to be many Digitrax replacements. I looked at the picture of the AZL4 and I don't understand how it is possible to control independant nose lights, interior light and number boards. Do we have to add something to the PCB to have that kind of precision or is it really all included with the drop-in decoder ? I don't even see a light (maybe it very small LED but I don't see it). Thank you Patrice
