Gang, It looks like we will have a small surprise for our February release. While I will wait for Rob Kluz to make the official announcement once everything is finalized, I’ll give you four hints for now: 1) It is a new body style 2) It has multiple versions 3) It ran in larger numbers that you might think ;D 4) It is not a locomotive I’ll let your imagination take it from here! Cheers! -Rob(A) AZL

The possibilities are almost endless. A dodecapod? No locomotives. A Minuteman missile launcher? A nuclear weapons carrier? (I can describe it but sorry no photos) A steam generator? A remote operated crane? A motorized handcar? A snow plow?
Am I close?
Mark
BTW: you should teach your spell checker how to spell AZL.

Actually you are quite close!
OK, one more HINT: If you see a star, you'll find a hole.

Your getting closer all the time! (But not quite there - yet) Go back to this one to finish the puzzler: "If you see a star, you'll find a hole."

I was inclined to think of Averell's pop as being Edward Henry, but now am convinced that you're talking about the Daltons. A jail car! Hole in the roof = escape. Voilà!
Personally I had preferred some Harriman coaches, but I take whatever I can get...

My vote would be for the Harriman, then we could start building real passenger trains. I'm thinking more of what the Dalton's might rob: the baggage side of a combo car or an RPO. But every time I read the star & hole clue, I think of a winter trip through Donner Pass as a kid: the snow blower had just been through and the snow was piled on either side above the roof of the car. All I could see is the stars through the narrow hole above the snow.

Personally I had preferred some Harriman coaches, but I take whatever I can get... "Pop" doesn't always mean music, a sound, or a beverage. Mark So let me see if I can say the same clue another way: "A Star on the side gives the crew some comfort" NEW CLUE: They lived longer than anyone else in the family.

My guess would be a dome car maybe a observation car.

My guess would be a dome car maybe a observation car. Nope - neither of those is correct, nor has anyone else gotten yet. I'm told that Rob is getting closer to the announcement, so here is another clue: "Not glamorous, but made good money."

How about making some Amtrak P42's? (or for our Canadian friends VIA) You already have Superliners made...

A Railway Post Office car? Any military troop car? Police bay window caboose?
