I´ve just seen on the german Märklin homepage the announcement for this years news. Unfortunately there is nothing for US . I hoped they might produce a nice PA, because the already produced them in HO pretty well. I´m affraid thy might leave the US market completely.

While I certainly have zero inside info, it could be that they are minimizing new entries into a market that is well-served by AZL already. I don't think they will "leave the US market completely" but instead are focusing on other things that best serve their prime customer base. AZL is adequately satisfying the American market as is. Plus, Marklin are starting to see new Euro locomotive prototype players such as Rokuhan entering their z scale market. I would suggest to stay patient and see what is to come from Marklin.
