Hey everyone I have a brand new loco that won't run it's very disappointing I've tried to contact azl Bout it but I had no response can anyone give me an idea as to how to fix this the lights work it just won't run B unit runs but looks silly without the A unit I'm in no way upset with AZL about this I understand these things happen I'd just either like to fix it or pay to have it fixed depending on my answers in here I may just order a new one and keep the broken one for spare parts

It's probably a loose pc board. Try to reseat it. It usually takes about a day before Rob replies a email. It may take longer if he left for the nts.

I am sorry to hear about your E8. In general, when there are issues, please contact the dealer you purchased through first. The dealers are representatives of AZL are required to support their customers.
How are you trying to contact us? I have not seen an email come through. We have had some email issues lately so I want to find out where your inquiry is coming through as we may have a problem on our end. My two email addresses are:

Yes, this sounds like a simple board issue. Remove the shell of the E8. To do this, use a small flat head screw driver to gently pry up the locomotive shell. Insert the screw driver between the chassis and the shell at the rear of locomotive. Pry up gently to move the shell small increments at a time.
With the shell off, simply push the PCB forward. Test run before putting the shell back on. You should be good to go. Please let us know if this works for you.

Email sent like I said this is no ones fault shit just happens it's a very beautiful model and I will be owning both UP E8s in the future regardless of how this turns out maybe a few others also

The issue has been resolved engines been running for a few hours now no problem
